Applications for women’s funding in 2025 at the Zentrum für Kulturtechnik

All women* involved in the centre are eligible for the women* funding. The funding is intended to support women* in their academic and professional careers and to provide lasting incentives for gender equality and the elimination of the underrepresentation of women*.

What is fundable?

In principle, the funds can be used for a wide range of projects and activities, e.g. for participation in conferences and workshops, for research purposes, for teaching and guest assignments by women* or on the subject of equality and women’s* research, for work equipment and printing costs, or for the costs of projects, further training, language courses, etc. It is important that they are used either for career-promoting activities or to strengthen research on women*.

How do I apply for funding?

Applications must be submitted in writing, including a description of the project and a written explanation of how it contributes to equal opportunities or promotes your career: zfk.frauenbeauftragte@hu-berlin.de

How much funding is available?

A total of €4,000 is available for the current year. As a rule, project funding of up to €400 can be applied for. Higher applications may be considered in part or in full, depending on the availability of funds and the urgency of the request.

Is there a deadline?
