Dr. Elisabeth Lack is Managing Director of the Helmholtz-Zentrum für Kulturtechnik since January 1, 2023. Previously, she worked as an officer for the scientific mission statement and later as head of the “Strategy Development” unit of the President’s Office of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Elisabeth Lack is one of the founders of the Netzwerk Wissenschaftsmanagement e.V.
She studied Comparative Literature at Freie Universität and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and completed her studies at Cambridge University (UK). Elisabeth Lack then completed her doctorate at a DFG Research Training Group.
