Andreas Geißler studied history and law in Dresden and Saint-Denis (Île de la Réunion) with a focus on economic, social and technical history. From 2007 to 2011 he was a freelancer in the project group for the new conception of the Military History Museum of the German Armed Forces (MHM). Since then, he has worked as a curator and exhibition organizer in the museum and cultural sector, and in 2015 founded the exhibition agency kursiv | text-objekt-raum. In addition to his work as managing director in the administrative area, he worked there as project manager and research assistant in various exhibition projects. Most recently he was co-curator of the special exhibition “Gewalt und Geschlecht. Männlicher Krieg – Weiblicher Frieden?” (MHM, 2018).
Since May 2018 he has been curator for the Humboldt Laboratory.
