M.A.History and Medieval German Philology at Free University Berlin, Ph.D. in Medieval History at Humboldt University Berlin (2006), lecturer at Humboldt University (-2012). 2011 visiting professor at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris and Lyons, 2013 fellow at Max Planck Institute for the History of Sciences. 2013-2015 short-term professorships (replacements) at Constance University, Heidelberg University and Humboldt University. Since 2016 researcher at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities in the department “Regesta Imperii – catalogue of charters issued by Frederick III, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire (1440-1493)”, since 2018 research coordinator of the department. Teaching history at HU Berlin on a regular basis.
During summer term 2020 visiting professor at HU Berlin (together with Elsbeth Bösl) in the program “Diversity of Knowledge” with a teaching focus on “Ancient DNA as an epistemic object”. Further information under:
